Transalp: Fourth victory of the day for Weiss and Hornetz

The fifth stage from Falcade (BL) to Crespano del Grappa in the province of Treviso was the second longest of the Alpine crossing by road bike at 128,7 km and 3.047 meters in altitude. Werner Weiss and Bernd Hornetz achieved their fourth day and fifth category victory. However, they benefited from a fall by their opponents on the descent from Montegrappa. Marina Ilmer won the women's event and Marco Poier came second in the Grand Master event. Tomorrow, on the longest stage, the Transalp convoy will reach Trento.
