The "Darts Friends" from Natz are a group of 11 darts enthusiasts founded in 2015 and organize the only steel dart tournament in South Tyrol annually. This year, on August 2, 2025, the 9th steel dart tournament will be held on the high plateau in Natz-Schabs.

Since 2015, players from abroad, from Verona, and from all parts of South Tyrol have come to compete in the steel darts tournament. With many volunteers and a large lottery, the darts enthusiasts at the Natz clubhouse offer a unique atmosphere for players, whether amateurs or club players. Each year, the tournament has been raised to a new level, with continuous improvements. "The organization is perfect," is the opinion of participants in recent years, which promises plenty of motivation for the small group.

The field of participants grows from year to year, not least because the tournament is played on a cork board, making it unique. The field now includes a number of successful players who have already participated in international tournaments. Among the most prominent players is Andrea Micheletti, who represented Italy at the World Cup of Darts, where darts legends such as Raymond van Barneveld and Michael van Gerwen have also participated. Also worthy of mention is Michele Turetta, currently the only Italian darts professional and currently ranked No. 107 in the world.

The 64-player field will be 501 Double Out with Double KO. A hobby category is available for all other darts players who don't belong to a club or aren't officially registered with a darts club. In this category, 32 players will also compete for a coveted challenge cup in the 501 Single Out with Double KO.
