A great success for BSSG South Tyrol

BSSG Südtirol Alperia, with Armin Plaikner, Christian Mair, Franz Gatscher and Peter Mair under coach Marco Grazioli, secured the Supercoppa in goalball – the triple is complete! After victories in the Italian Serie A and the cup, the team now also wins the Supercoppa of the 2025-26 season.

This triumph follows the victory at the 50th international goalball tournament “European Champions Cup” last November in Bolzano and underlines the passion and continuity of the club.

Goalball is characterized by the fact that all players wear opaque goggles, allowing blind, visually impaired, and sighted people to play together under the same conditions. For over 50 years, this sport in South Tyrol has promoted not only motor development but also social cohesion and inclusion.
