Eleven-year-old skateboarder is youngest Olympic competitor

The Olympics is a showcase for the best athletes of their generation. A skateboarder from China proves that the word generation is a very comprehensive term.

The youngest participant in the Olympic Games in Paris comes from China. Zheng Haohao, who is eleven years and eleven months old, is looking forward to competing on her skateboard. "The competition is like meeting your best friends, like a game," said Zheng, who was given her first skateboard for her seventh birthday.

British skateboarder Andy Macdonald has far more life experience – the US-born skateboarder will be 51 next week. “Skateboarding is my personal fountain of youth,” explained Macdonald.
