The state gymnastics championships in Lana were a complete success.

The VSS Raiffeisen team state championship for girls in the lower grades of the 2019 to 2014 age groups, as well as the individual state championship for boys, took place on Saturday in the gymnasium of the Lana middle school.

The hall was already buzzing with activity from 8:20 a.m. onwards, as gymnasts from all over South Tyrol showcased their skills on the apparatus. Five clubs from South Tyrol were represented in the girls' competition: SC Meran, Ritten Sport, SSV Brixen, SV Latsch, and E'Danza. The girls competed in a total of six categories. The young gymnasts from SC Meran dominated the competition, securing four out of six regional titles with great effort. The remaining two categories went to the gymnasts from Ritten Sport.

Simultaneously, the individual state championships for boys were held. Young athletes competed for the titles in four age categories – from those born in 2017 and earlier down to those born in 2005. SV Lana performed particularly well, providing all four state champions:
Johannes Felix Bernhard, Alexander Kalincivic, Lukas Andreas Mair, Paul Fleischmann.

With great dedication, team spirit, and sportsmanship, all participants delivered impressive performances, ensuring an exciting and successful day of competition. "We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the organizers, coaches, and numerous volunteers whose efforts ensured the smooth running of the event," emphasized VSS representative Elisabeth Ladurner.
