"We meet whenever we can."

Kimi Antonelli is leading the Formula 1 World Championship and Jannik Sinner is the world's number one tennis player. The two friends had a big reunion at Wimbledon.

After one unfortunate race weekend at Silverstone Mercedes driver Antonelli took a short break – and spent it at one of the most prestigious venues in sports. The 19-year-old Italian attended the Wimbledon Grand Slam tournament and met [names of people] there. his close friend Sinner.

Just one day after the bitter disappointment at the British Grand Prix, Antonelli took a seat in the prestigious Royal Box of Centre Court, right next to Roger Federer. There, on Monday, they watched Jasmine Paolini and Arthur Fery secure victories. But the visit wasn't just for relaxation: before the round of 16 matches, the Formula 1 star took the time to meet with Sinner, who was preparing for his next match.

Sinner and Antonelli have been close friends for years. "The first person I met in tennis was Jannik at the ATP Finals in Turin. We exchanged numbers after that, and we've been in contact ever since. We're friends now. We meet up whenever we can," Antonelli explained. With a twinkle in his eye, the Italian added, "A match against Jannik? That would be far too easy for him."
