When the driving license is the bigger challenge

Unlike his difficulties in the driving test, England's world champion Luke Littler finds playing darts quite easy, even on the biggest possible stage.

The 18-year-old was crowned World Matchplay winner for the first time late Sunday evening – becoming one of five professionals to win the world's three most important trophies. These include the World Matchplay, the World Championship, and the Premier League.

"It means the world to me to have my name on this list. I can now say I've won the Triple Crown," said Littler after lifting the Phil Taylor Trophy in Blackpool's magnificent Empress Ballroom. In the 18-13 win over fellow countryman James Wade, Littler even overcame a false start that left him 0-5 down. "I showed I can come back," said Littler.

Failed the theory test four times

Littler also had to return for his driving test several times recently. According to his own account, the youngster failed the theory test in four attempts. Almost two weeks ago, the Englishman posted a photo on Instagram claiming he hadn't earned enough points on the test.

"Fourth time... and it keeps going," Littler wrote, adding a green smiley face with nausea. Nothing has been publicly announced about a possible fifth attempt.
