With a lot of humor: Former tennis star announces offspring

Former tennis world number one Caroline Wozniacki and former NBA star David Lee are becoming parents for the third time.

The Dane announced this with a family photo on social media. Wozniacki posted a photo of herself, her husband, David Lee, and their daughter and son, captioning it: "We are officially transitioning to zone defense. Our family couldn't be more excited to welcome a third baby."

The zone defense is a nod to her partner Lee, who formerly played in the world's best basketball league, the NBA. A basketball team consists of five players.

Wozniacki already ended her career once in 2020. The former world number one and Australian Open champion celebrated a comeback in the summer of 2023. However, she was unable to build on her previous successes.
