The ATC Neumarkt can look back on an open tennis tournament that was successful in every respect: the organizers around tournament director Robert Zanotti were able to attract a total of 254 (!) players - 194 men and 60 women - to their own facility and thus offered the local tennis scene eleven days an ideal assessment of where we stand before crucial weeks in the team championships. Actually, I find it more difficult to play against such offensive players like her, but with my slice and my stops I was able to move them well," said a happy Viertler in the winner's interview with Plopp.

In the conclusion of the third category, 12-year-old Lilli Marth (ATC Passeier | 3.1) was able to prevail against Sofia Gozzi (Canottieri Mincio GS | 3) after a 6:6, 1:12, 10-3.1 thriller Men's Thomas Dallapiazza (TC Rungg | 3.1) retained the upper hand in the duel between two training partners against Samuel Vanzetta (TC Rungg | 3.1) with 7:6(5), 6:3. In the fourth category, however, Silvia Kaufmann (ASV Deutschnofen Tennis | 4.1) won against Maria C. Obkircher (Haslacher SV | 4.1) with 6:2, 6:2. In the men's category, Wolfgang Prossliner (FC Gries Tennis | 4.1) won the generational duel Beat Fabio Costaperaria (TC Bozen | 4.1) 6:7(4), 6:4, 10-7.
