Sinner admits: “Today I was curious”
Last year's winner Jannik Sinner started the Australian Open with a fitting three-set victory. The defending champion was relieved after his opening victory.

Sinner's sporting action in Melbourne continues on Thursday. In the second round, he will face Australian Tristan Schoolkate (ATP 173), who defeated Japanese Taro Daniel (ATP 84) in four sets. "I'll need time to understand how he plays." Sinner has never played against the 23-year-old local hero before.
