The hope for a WTA 125 tournament this fall in Val Gardena has not been fulfilled. However, there will be no lack of top-class tennis at the Roncadizza tennis hall this year either.

Because the professional association WTA is looking worldwide for WTA 125 tournaments (these are the lowest level tournaments on the WTA Tour with 125 points for the winner), Val Gardena came into play due to its many years of experience as a host.
