If you want to see Sinner, you have to work a night shift

If you want to see Jannik Sinner play in the third round of the Australian Open, you have to work a night shift in South Tyrol. The Sesto native will meet Argentinian Sebastian Baez on Friday at 3 a.m. CET.

Jannik Sinner enjoys the Australian Open. The South Tyrolean likes the warm weather down under, while it is bitterly cold in his homeland. For his fans at home, it's sometimes not that easy to follow the games on TV. The duel against Sebastian Baez is scheduled for Friday at 2 a.m. CET. In Melbourne it will be 12 p.m.

Sinner has only played against Baez once, last year in Shanghai. The South Tyrolean won this duel in 3 sets (3:6, 6:3, 6:2). The 23-year-old from Argentina is in 29th place in the ATP world rankings and eliminated Colombian Daniel Elahi Galan in the second round. The game between Sinner and Baez will take place at the Margaret Court Arena.

By the way: For all those tennis fans who don't want to spend half the night watching TV, there's a detailed SportNews report from the game just in time for breakfast.
