Derby wins in the C1 – Monfardini successful in Singapore

While ASC Sarnthein suffered a defeat in the B1 league, Südtirol "A" and Tramin secured clear derby victories in the C1 league. Internationally, Gaia Monfardini fought her way into the main draw at the WTT Smash Singapore in Singapore.

In the B1 league, ASC Sarnthein suffered a 2-5 defeat against Rangers Udine. Iranian Nobakht Naeim and Andrea Pacileo scored for Sarnthein, but this did not change the outcome of the match.

In the C1 league, the derby between South Tyrol "A" and South Tyrol "B" has already been played – with a clear 5-1 victory for the "A" team. Manuel and Gabriel Viglianti each contributed two points, while Timo Trager secured the fifth. Alex Muck earned the consolation point for "B". The derby between Tramin and Milland also ended decisively: Tramin prevailed 5-1. Egon Bertignoll and Florian Maier each scored twice, and Michael Florian added another point. Andreas Wierer scored for Milland.

Monfardini in the main field of Singapore

Debora Vivarelli, Giorgia Piccolin, and Gaia Monfardini competed at the WTT Smash in Singapore. However, Vivarelli and Piccolin were eliminated in the first qualifying round: Vivarelli narrowly lost to Sweden's Christina Källberg 2-3, while Piccolin was defeated 1-3 by South Korea's Yoo Yerin. Monfardini, on the other hand, fought her way into the main draw with victories against Serbia's Izabela Lupulesku (3-2), Romania's Andreea Dragoman (3-2), and France's Charlotte Lutz (3-1). There, however, her run ended in the first round with a 0-3 loss to China's Shi Xunyao.
