Daniel Hofer can take off his makeup at the Olympics

The South Tyrolean triathlete didn't get past 45th place at the World Series in Madrid on Sunday. As a result, he was unable to secure either of the two starting places for London 2012 in the last qualifying competition and will only be used if one of his competitors in the Italian team - Alessandro Fabian and Davide Uccellari - are injured.
