I didn't think it would be enough to win. “It gives me a good feeling for further qualifications,” says Carolin Schaller confidently. “In the U2 qualifying, I finished fourth and was only a few hundredths of a second away from making it into the top three. Nevertheless, it was a nice run that showed me that I have caught up compared to the previous year. Now we are preparing for the qualifying races in Tacen (Slovenia) and Ivrea,” said Tamara Drescher.

Matthias Ulpmer (SV Milland) competed in the highest performance class for the first time in Valstagna. At the national canoe slalom, he came 14th in the general class kayak singles.
