The final starting places for the Junior World Championships in Krakow (Poland) and the European Championships in Épinal (France) will be awarded on the Brenta River. Lars Aaron Senoner and Sara Furlan will be the main focus.
Having already qualified for the World and European Championships in the K1 event in Tacen, Slovenia, Senoner now has the chance to secure a second ticket in the C1 event. The 17-year-old travels to Valstagna with plenty of confidence: "I prepared very well in the C1 with the national team in Krakow last week. I'm going into the C1 race with a relaxed attitude and will give it my all in the qualifying races, then see how my performance translates to the World Championships. At the Italian K1 Championships, I'll have to take some risks to defend my title from last year," Senoner explains.

"This race is my last chance to participate in the World and European Championships. That's why I'll give it my all and hope to make the most of this opportunity," said Furlan.Sara Furlan wants to attend the major events.
