Favorites impress at the 48th Diving Meeting in the Bolzano Lido
The second day of competition at the 48th Diving Meeting in the Lido of Bolzano also saw top-class performances. Ahead of the finals on Sunday, the athletes from Australia, the USA, and Canada, in particular, presented themselves in strong form.

In the women's 3-meter springboard semifinals, Australian world-class diver Maddison Keeney set the day's best score with 324,20 points, underlining her status as favorite for today's final. Canadian Mia Valle scored second (300,30), followed by Americans Kyndal Knight (295,95) and Sophia Verzil (294,30).
Top international athletes also dominated the men's platform diving. Canadian Matt Cullen won the first semifinal heat with an outstanding 433,10 points, ahead of his compatriot Benjamin Tessier and Briton Robbie Lee. In the other heat, Australian Jonah Mercieca prevailed with 413,70 points, ahead of American Joshua Hedberg.

In the women's 10-meter platform final, Australian Ellie Cole prevailed with 346,10 points against Japan's Rin Kaneto and American Bayleigh Cranford. In the men's 3-meter springboard event, American Luke Sitz won with 432,85 points, ahead of Briton Ross Haslam and his compatriot Carson Tyler.Cagnotto, too, doesn't miss the spectacle.
Among the spectators was once again Bolzano's diving legend Tania Cagnotto, who supports OK boss Ardelio Michielli and was also on duty as a co-commentator on Saturday.Sunday's program consists entirely of finals. The Italian jumpers are also hoping for top finishes.
