An Auchentaller alone in a wide area

Armin Auchentaller alone in the hallway. That's how you can describe the 52-year-old Antholzer's World Cup mission, even though it's been going quite positively so far. He is alone because he and his team are seen as exotic in the biathlon camp. And also because his daughter Hannah Auchentaller was not considered for the World Cup.

Since my arrival in Nove Mesto - a week ago now - I have had many amusing, educational and interesting conversations with people and personalities from the biathlon world. One of the most interesting and certainly the most relaxed was the one with Armin Auchentaller. 52 years old, father of two from Antholz and has been working as a biathlon trainer for more than 30 years.
