Germans dominate, Baumgartner trails behind

The local heroes achieved a triple victory at the two-man bobsleigh World Cup in Winterberg, Germany.

Johannes Lochner and Georg Fleischhauer won, ahead of Adam Ammour and Alexander Schaller, and Francesco Friedrich and Alexander Schüller. Patrick Baumgartner from Puster Valley and brakeman Robert Mircea had no luck this time, finishing in 22nd place after a flawed run. They will try their luck in the four-man bobsleigh competition on Sunday.
