European Curling Championship: South Tyroleans are happy about their first medals
The South Tyroleans opened the medal round with silver and bronze at the European Curling Championships in Bruneck. In the women's target team competition, Frieda Nocker from Eppan, Sonja Mulser from Kurtatsch, Maria Roman from Eppan and Anni Waibl from Algund won the silver medal. Robert Sinner from Pichl-Gsies, Roman Zublasing from Kaltern, Robert Parth from Naturns and Josef Aichner from Teis, however, took bronze in the men's category.
