Maria Gasslitter is doing it again!

Just a week ago, Maria Gasslitter qualified for the Freestyle Skiing World Cup final in Aspen for the first time. Now the 19-year-old has gone one better in Laax, Switzerland.

Gasslitter finished ninth in Thursday morning's slopestyle qualification with 62,86 points. This means the young woman from St. Ulrich in Gröden will once again compete in Saturday's top-ten final (starting at 1:30 p.m.). The qualification was won by China's Ailing Gu (81,86 points), ahead of another Chinese competitor.

In Aspen, Gasslitter finished in fifth place, achieving her best World Cup result. In this form, she could also cause a sensation at the 2026 Olympics in Livigno. The men's qualifying round in Laax will take place later on Thursday.
