Baby bliss: After the birth, it's straight to the Olympics!

She is considered one of the greatest winter sports athletes of all time, and even after her career, Therese Johaug continues to cause a great stir.

Therese Johaug has always been a real powerhouse. 107 World Cup victories, 14 World Championship gold medals, four Olympic wins – the 37-year-old former cross-country skier is undoubtedly one of the greatest winter sports athletes of all time. The Norwegian has been retired since the summer, but she's certainly not bored; quite the opposite.

Johaug's life remains hectic even after her career. The cross-country skiing icon was recently honored with the Norwegian Sports Gala's Lifetime Achievement Award – and just a few hours later, she gave birth to her second child. "Days like these don't come often. New mom and the Sports Gala Lifetime Achievement Award on the same day," Johaug wrote joyfully on her Instagram account.

After their firstborn daughter Kristin (born in 2023), Johaug has now welcomed a son. She and her husband Nils Jakob Hoff are basking in family bliss – but a new adventure awaits the cross-country skiing star. She will be working as an expert commentator for the Norwegian TV channel at the Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina. NRK be in use.

Just a few weeks after giving birth, Johaug is already back at work. "We are very happy to have Therese Johaug on our Olympic team," said Kristine Norvik Skeide, the Olympic Director of the NRK. "How much she will be involved and how it will all play out is, of course, impossible to say for sure yet," Skeide added. One thing is certain, however: Therese Johaug has remained a true powerhouse even after her career.
