The perfect home World Cup for Johannes Høsflot Klæbo

Local hero and superstar Johannes Høsflot Klæbo has won his 4th gold medal in the 4th cross-country skiing competition.

The 28-year-old from Trondheim won the team sprint in the classic technique with his Norwegian partner Erik Valnes. The outstanding Klæbo now has a total of 13 World Championship gold medals and can win his 5th gold in the relay on Thursday. The Italians Davide Graz and Federico Pellegrino had to settle for 4th place in the team sprint.


In the women's category, the Swedes Jonna Sundling and Maja Dahlqvist were crowned world champions. Silver went to Jessie Diggins and Julia Kern from the USA, ahead of the Swiss Anja Weber and Nadine Fähndrich. The Italians Caterina Ganz and Federica Cassol took fifth place.
