Dominator Klaebo celebrates record victory at Tour de Ski

Cross-country skiing dominator Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo has impressively underlined his status as favorite for the Winter Olympics with his fifth triumph at the Tour de Ski.

After his sprint victory on Saturday, a twelfth place finish on the final stage, with its challenging climb to Alpe Cermis, was enough for the five-time Olympic champion from Norway to secure the overall victory.

In the overall standings, the 29-year-old exceptional athlete finished 30,1 seconds ahead of his compatriot Mattis Stenshagen, who secured the day's victory in the 10-kilometer mass start ahead of Jules Lapierre of France. The best Italian was Federico Pellegrino in 7th place, followed by Elia Barp in 11th.
