In the team sprint: Hellweger misses top 10

The team sprint took place in Davos on Friday evening. The South Tyrolean cross-country skier Michael Hellweger was there.

Together with Davide Graz, Hellweger was part of the Italy II team. After Graz was able to keep the team in the lead, Hellweger fell back continuously and crossed the finish line in a sprint with Finland II. The photo finish went in favor of the Scandinavians, who grabbed 11th place. Hellweger and Graz remained in 12th place.


The victory in the men's event went to Norway I, which competed with Paal Golberg and Johannes Hoesflot Kläbo. Second place went to Switzerland I (Janik Riebli, Valerio Grond) ahead of Sweden I (Johan Hägström, Edvin Anger).

In the women's competition, the same nations landed on the podium, but in a different order. The victory went to Sweden I (Emma Ribom, Jonna Sundling), followed by Norway (Astrid Slind, Kristin Fosnäs) and Switzerland (Anja Weber, Nadine Fähnrich).
