Johaug's dream comeback is now perfect

At the Cross-Country World Cup in Lillehammer on Friday, the Norwegians were once again in a class of their own.

The outstanding cross-country skiing nation dominated the 15-kilometer freestyle race at its home event. Martin Nyenget won ahead of Simen Hegstad Krüger and Harald Oestberg Amundsen. The Azzurri had nothing to do with the top places in the women's and men's races.

In the women's race, Norway was also unbeatable over the 10 km and secured all the podium places. Therese Johaug won the World Cup for the first time since her comeback this winter. The 36-year-old won comfortably ahead of Heidi Weng and Astrid Öyre Slind. Last week, Johaug had already finished second.
