In the second lap, Dahl and Astrid Øyre Slind were alone at the top, but behind them the Fleten-Larsson duo became more and more dangerous, only 5 seconds behind. Hedenströms, who wore the best U-26 jersey today, came from behind and led the group with Smedaas, Bangman, Roivas and Øyre Slind (Silje).

In the third round, the legendary quartet with the two Norwegians Øyre Slind and Fleten and the two Swedes Dahl and Larsson formed the lead, which was also compact in the fourth round. With a delay of 2', the group, still led by the Swede Hedenström, went into double poling.

On the fifth passage, Larsson opened the hunt for the finish on Melager Alm, followed by Dahl, Fleten and Øyre Slind. The rear group was still 2' behind and the podium was therefore secured for the leading quartet.

The Italians didn't do badly, Rebecca Bergagnin from Belluno (Team Robinson Trentino) fought hard against a group of Scandinavians. In her first season at the Ski Classics, she finished 24th, while her teammate Caminada finished XNUMXth.

In the second lap, the Norwegians Stadaas, Eide Pedersen, Vesterheim and Jespersen came forward, while the Swede Persson, along with Stakston and Riege, “hid” behind them. On lap 4, Norwegian Hoel and Swedes Eklof, Persson and Novak came from the back of the race. The Italians Mauro Brigadoi (Team Internorm) and Dietmar Nöckler (Team Robinson) were further back and fought close to each other for almost the entire race.

On the last lap, Norwegian Eide Pedersen took the lead, followed by Persson, who went into the final sprint. The best Italian was Francesco Ferrari (Team Internorm) in 27th place, his best placement to date at the Ski Classics.
