Lambpartner also wins the final in Oslo

Overall World Cup winner Johannes Lamparter ended the season with the hoped-for success on Sunday.

The 24-year-old from North Tyrol not only won for the first time at Holmenkollen in Oslo, but also celebrated his 23rd World Cup victory in Nordic Combined. He equaled the record of the best Austrian in World Cup history, Felix Gottwald. Lamparter remained in the lead throughout the 10km cross-country course, winning the ski jumping portion and beating his main rival, Jens Luraas Oftebro (NOR), by 31,2 seconds.


The best Italian was Iacopo Bortolos in 14th place. Aaron Kostner from Val Gardena finished in 26th place. Italian Alessandro Pittin ended his career on Sunday at the age of 36, finishing in 50th place.
