Oftebro shines in Seefeld – Azzurri lagging behind
Norwegian Jens Luraas Oftebro secured the second Norwegian men’s victory on the second day of the Seefeld Nordic Combined Triples.

The 24-year-old won the compact competition after jumping and 7,5 km cross-country skiing ahead of fellow countryman and previous day's mass start winner Jarl Magnus Riiber.
The best Italian on Saturday was veteran Alessandro Pittin, who finished 35th. Aaron Kostner finished immediately behind him in 36th place.
German premiere winner
In the women's race, 19-year-old Nathalie Armbruster had previously achieved her first World Cup victory, making it the first ever success for a German in Nordic Combined. She confidently won the compact race after a jump and the subsequent five-kilometer run.The Seefeld Triple ends on Sunday with a Gundersen competition, with a jump and the final cross-country skiing.
In the shadow of the Seefeld World Cup, where no Azzurra competed, a Continental Cup competition was held in Lillehammer (Norway) (Germany) – in which Veronica Gianmoena from Trentino snatched the victory. Daniela Dejori from Val Gardena took fourth place.
