South Tyrol's artificial track luge athletes have two World Cup trophies to defend in the coming season. This will be a difficult but not impossible undertaking. To make it a success, the World Cup winners Andrea Vötter and Marion Oberhofer have decided to only compete in the doubles.

These days, the South Tyrolean sledders are eagerly awaiting the decision regarding the ice track in Cortina d'Ampezzo, which should be made in the next few days. It would be a hard blow for them if they had to do without a home track in the future.
