Fischnaller can't compete with Austrians

At the Luge World Cup in Igls, Austria achieved a quadruple triumph. South Tyrolean Dominik Fischnaller was unable to counter the red-white-red power.

Dominik Fischnaller finished 7th after the Meransner managed to gain one place in the final. But it wasn't enough for more. At least Fischnaller was the best of his team. He was followed by Leon Felderer (12th), Lukas Peccei (18th) and Alex Gufler (23rd).

The South Tyroleans had nothing to do with the top rankings. These all went to Austria. Nico Gleirscher won ahead of his compatriots Jonas Müller (2nd), David Gleirscher (3rd) and Wolfgang Kindl (4th).
