South Tyrol's luge athletes celebrate a final highlight

At the last World Cup of the season, South Tyrol's luge athletes reached the podium in the team relay.

One last World Cup for a long time: On Sunday afternoon, South Tyrol's skating stars were once again challenged at the highest level. In the team relay, Dominik Fischnaller delivered, who already finished second in the singles, together with Sandra Robatscher, Andrea Vötter/Marion Oberhofer and Ivan Nagler/Fabian Malleier, however, and with second place at the season finale in Altenberg, Germany, they provided a highlight to the end.

Austria took the victory: Lisa Schulte, David Gleirscher, Selina Egle/Lara Kipp, and Thomas Steu/Wolfgang Kindl were unbeatable, finishing 0,218 seconds ahead of the Italians. Third place went somewhat surprisingly to Latvia. The German team was disqualified after a mistake during the baton exchange with Merle Fräbel.
