Alex Oberhofer continues to set the tone. On Saturday, the Italian national team athlete set the fastest time in both runs on the "Bergkristall" track. With a total time of 1.49,97:0,66 minutes, he was 0,94 seconds faster than Vid Kralj (SLO), who came fourth in the opening race in Winterleiten. Ziga Kralj (SLO) completed the podium in Passeier Valley in third place (+XNUMX).
In the overall ranking, Oberhofer leads with the maximum of 200 points, followed by Ziga Kral with 155 points, just ahead of his brother Vid (145) and Anton Gruber Genetti (ITA/130).

In the women's singles, Tina Stuffer (ITA/1.52,73:0,22 minutes) celebrated her first victory in the Junior World Cup thanks to the fastest time in the second run, ahead of the half-time leader Jenny Castiglioni (ITA/+1,10 seconds) and Lotte Mulser (ITA/+160). Nina Castiglioni (ITA), the winner of Winterleiten, came fourth. In the overall ranking, four runners are neck and neck. Nina Castiglioni leads with 155 points, followed by Stuffer, Jenny Castiglioni and Mulser with XNUMX points each.

In the doubles, Anton Gruber Genetti/Jakob Gruber Genetti (ITA/1.04,08 minutes) celebrated their first victory in the Junior World Cup on Friday, ahead of the Poles Wojciech Kwiecinski/Patryk Hudy and Konrad Plonka/Nikolas Dawidowski. The winners from Winterleiten, Gabriel Halcin/Samuel Halcin (SVK), did not compete in the Passeier Valley.
The Junior World Cup in natural track luge continues on 11/12 January on the “Grantau” track in Umhausen (AUT).
