Downhill training: The World Cup heroes are in no hurry

Eleven days ago, one of the biggest highlights of the ski winter took place when the medals were awarded in the men's downhill in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. In the end, Franjo von Allmen was the big hero and crowned himself world champion in the supreme discipline at the tender age of 23.

Now it's back to everyday life for the downhill skiers. This weekend there will be a downhill race (Saturday at 10 a.m.) and a super-G race (Sunday at 10.30 a.m.) in Crans-Montana (Switzerland). The heroes of the World Cup downhill race held back in the first training session.

There is another training session on Friday before the World Cup points are up for grabs on Saturday.
