Final training on the Streif: Azzurri step on the gas

Hahnenkamm Week began yesterday in Kitzbühel. Today the final training took place on the Streif on Wednesday. The fastest was the Frenchman Nils Allegre.

The Frenchman Nils Allegre was the fastest in the final training on the infamous Streif in Kitzbühel. Similar to yesterday, the Streif was in perfect condition and the weather was good too. The weather was cool and dry with overcast skies. The Frenchman came in just ahead of his compatriot Blake Giezendanner (+0,02).

Behind them in third and fourth place were the two Azzurri Christof Innerhofer (+0,05) and Mattia Casse (+0,07). Florian Schieder ended up in eighth place, almost half a second behind. Dominik Paris, who has already won four times in Kitzbühel, finished the final training in 19th place. The leader in the overall World Cup, Marco Odermatt, ended up in 21st place. The Swiss appeared to be in strong form and underlined his ambitions to win in the next few days, even if he took a beating towards the end of his run.
