The Adelboden finale promises to be very exciting.

The first round in Adelboden (SUI) produced many close results. This means that anything is still possible for many athletes in the final (1:30 pm).

Henrik Kristoffersen leads after the first run in Adelboden. The experienced Norwegian has a 28-hundredths-of-a-second advantage over his compatriot Atle Lie McGrath. That's a decent cushion, but by no means a guarantee of victory. "You can always go faster, but overall it was okay," Kristoffersen summarized in an interview with ORF.

Behind McGrath, however, things get really tight. Only 51 hundredths of a second separate the second-placed Norwegian from Armand Marchant (BEL) in eleventh. This promises a very exciting second run. Especially since almost all the top skiers are still in contention, including Eduard Hallberg (+0,29), Paco Rassat (+0,36), Clement Noel (+0,44), Lucas Braathen (+0,45), and Tanguy Nef (+0,61). Only Timon Haugan (NOR) is out of contention.

The Italians fared considerably worse. Alex Vinatzer (+1,52/20th) and Tobias Kastlunger (+2,17/29th) at least managed to qualify for the final. Barbera Corrado (+2,14/28th) also made it into the second race as the rider with the highest starting number (66). Matteo Canins (38th), Tommaso Saccardi (42nd), and Tommaso Sala (43rd), however, did not make it.
