There was nothing to gain for the Azzurri, as the eventual winners from the USA were already over in the quarter-finals. The only South Tyrolean at the start was Alex Vinatzer, who answered our questions in the mixed zone. He not only talked about the parallel format, but also about his busy Tuesday, which didn't end with the team event.
