Back to square one: Nicol Delago's new start

It was "only" a broken collarbone that Nicol Delago sustained on September 12th during ski training in Argentina. Nevertheless, there was initially great uncertainty as to how long the 28-year-old would have to take a break. Today - exactly 3 months later - it is clear: not extremely long. Because: Nicol Delago is back in the Speed World Cup straight away.

The fact that the older of the two Delago sisters opened the first speed training of the season in Beaver Creek on Wednesday with starting number 1 fits the picture perfectly. Following the motto "new season, new luck", Nicol Delago is entering her 10th World Cup season.
