“Baby bubble”: New ski mom beams

The end of the season held a very special highlight for a former star skier: she became a mother again.

The timing couldn't be better. The ski season has just ended, and former star skier Tina Weirather has announced with great joy: she's become a mother. The Liechtenstein native recently gave birth to her second child: her firstborn son Lio (2) now has a sibling. Weirather is keeping the baby's gender and name private for now.

“We are now a family of four. Baby bubble bliss, where time stands still,” the 36-year-old rejoices. Weirather and their son Lio are also delighted, as is her husband, Fabio Nay, a radio presenter. The two met in 2017 and have been married since 2022.

Weirather ended her highly successful career six years ago. Nevertheless, she remains omnipresent in the ski scene: the 41-time World Cup podium finisher works as an expert for Swiss radio and television. SRF in addition.
