At the World Cup Finals: Ski stars in party mode

It's no secret that celebrations are a popular part of the Ski World Cup Finals. Dominik Paris, after his double victory in Kvitfjell, announced: "I'm going to have to celebrate something."

No sooner said than done. The Ultner threw himself down after the successful conclusion, in which he Gustav Thöni as the most successful South Tyrolean skier of all time overtook him, into the cheering crowd. Because many friends and family members had also travelled to Norway for the World Cup final, Paris was in excellent company.

The amateur musician, who recently released his second studio album with his metal band Rise Of Voltage, also took the opportunity to showcase his vocal skills.

Dominik Paris in his element: The man from Ulten is a singer in a metal band – and was not short of a song in Kvitfjell either.

Lucas Pinheiro Braathen posted a video of Paris performing Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name" with a band. Braathen himself was also musically active in his native Norway. The flamboyant skier from the World Cup performed as a DJ.

The World Cup Finals in Kvitfjell conclude midweek. The men compete in their giant slalom on Tuesday, followed by the slalom on Wednesday. The women's races are on the reverse schedule.
