“To the moon and back”: Ski ace deeply in love

It was anything but an easy season for Isabella Wright. The speed specialist, who is one of the best downhill skiers in the USA, crashed in Garmisch-Partenkirchen at the end of January, forced a break, and ultimately cut her winter short at the beginning of March.

Unlucky in gambling, lucky in love: That's a pretty apt summary. While Wright has had her fair share of problems in her sporting life recently, things are going smoothly in her private life. The 28-year-old has been in a relationship with former freestyler Ryan McElmon for eleven years now – and is still as in love as the first day, as she lovingly explained in a recent post.

"For eleven years, I've been living my dream with the best person in the world," Wright wrote romantically, posting some sweet couple photos. "I'm forever the luckiest girl in the world. To the moon and back, over and over again, my handsome."

Sweetheart Ryan's response wasn't long in coming. "I still can't believe I've been able to spend the last eleven years with this angel. We practically grew up together, and to see the woman Bell has become is simply extraordinary. Cheers to a lifetime of memories."

Next winter, Isabella Wright, who has twice finished in the top 10 in the World Cup, plans to challenge again. Her goal is the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina. Will her love life inspire her?
