A special evening for Alex Vinatzer

Alex Vinatzer has 19 top 10 finishes to his name in his specialty, slalom - with "only" two top 3 finishes. One of them came on December 22, 2020 in Madonna di Campiglio. It is understandable that the classic in Trentino on Wednesday evening has a special meaning for the Val Gardena native.

It has been more than four years since Vinatzer climbed onto the podium on the legendary Miramonti slope, only being beaten by Henrik Kristoffersen and Sebastian Foss-Solevaag. Since then, the 4-year-old has been chasing a podium finish in the Slalom World Cup.
