Henrik Kristoffersen and his wife Tonje, who married last summer, are celebrating the happiest event in a couple's life. In their adopted home of Salzburg, Kristoffersen's longtime partner gave birth to their daughter Linnea last Saturday. The news was only officially announced this afternoon.

Three years after the birth of Emil Henrik, Kristoffersen became a father for the second time. "The little sister is finally here. Welcome home, our wonderful little daughter," the 32-year-old wrote on Instagram.

Last winter wasn't easy for Kristoffersen. After four years, he parted ways with his ski brand Van Deer to compete for Head in the future. Nevertheless, his victory in the Schladming night slalom and his Olympic bronze medal in his signature slalom discipline were of great importance.
