European Cup: Azzurre miss out on top results in Saalbach

A women's Super-G race took place on Saturday at the European Cup stop in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. The Italian team was unable to contend for top results.

Nadine Fest won the Super-G in Saalbach on Saturday. The Austrian completely outclassed the competition, including Switzerland's Stefanie Grob (+0,97 seconds) and Germany's Fabian Dorigo (+1,36).

The best Italian rider was Ilaria Ghisalberti in 11th place, 2,45 seconds behind winner Fest. Sara Thaler followed in 12th place (+2,48). Also in the top 30 were Sara Allemand (19th) and Camilla Vanni (29th).
