European Cup in Reinswald: Second Super-G postponed

Following Monday's thrilling Super-G, won by Austrian Nadine Fest, adverse weather conditions led to the postponement of the second FIS Alpine Skiing European Cup race in Sarntal, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday. The second women's Super-G on the Schöneben slope will now take place on Wednesday, starting at 10:00 AM.

In the Sarntal valley, the snowfall that began early Tuesday morning was expected to ease during the morning. The jury therefore decided to postpone the start until 12 noon.

Contrary to expectations, the heavy snowfall continued for the next few hours and was accompanied by patches of fog. After a careful inspection of the slope, the jury decided to postpone the second Super-G of the FIS Alpine Skiing European Cup in Sarntal until Wednesday.

The team captains' meeting then decided that the second women's Super-G as part of the European Cup in Reinswald will take place on Wednesday starting at 10 a.m.
