European Cup: Saccardi follows up with victory

After finishing second the day before, Tommaso Saccardi secured victory in the European Cup slalom in Spain on Wednesday.

This was the second European Cup victory for the 24-year-old Italian, who finished over a second ahead of the Frenchmen Hugo Gesgrpippes and Antoine Azzolin. The Swiss rider Ramon Zenhäusern had to settle for fifth place.

Things didn't go as planned for the two South Tyroleans, Matteo Canins (12th) and Simon Maurberger (14th). Jakob Franzelin, on the other hand, was eliminated.
