European Cup: top results for Azzurri in Verbier

A European Cup Super-G was held in Verbier (SUI) on Friday. There was a podium finish for Italy.

Emanuele Buzzi, who has a lot of World Cup experience, finished second on the podium in Verbier on Friday. The Italian only had to admit defeat to Arnaud Boisset from Switzerland. Boisset was 16 hundredths faster than Buzzi. Stefan Eichberger (AUT/+0,18 seconds) completed the podium in third place.

Giovanni Franzoni was also able to achieve a good result (8th). The best South Tyrolean was Maximilian Ranzi (32nd). Max Perathoner did not reach the finish and was eliminated early.
