Happy South Tyroleans experience an incredible trip to Iceland

There were 4 days that were actually planned in detail and meticulously. And in the end things turned out differently. The trip by a delegation from Val Gardena to the FIS Congress in Reykjavík was a truly extraordinary one.

South Tyrolean athletes, officials, politicians and sponsors travelled to the far north to bring the 2029 Ski World Championships to the Val Gardena. Curiously, they returned home with a commitment for 2031. We accompanied the delegation to Iceland and recorded in the minutes how this crazy election result came about and how those involved experienced it.
