Hector wins Kranjska Gora

Sara Hector won the giant slalom in Kranjska Gora (SLO) in a superior manner. The Swede outclassed the competition and took home two red jerseys.

Victory in the World Cup race in Kranjska Gora, leader in the overall and giant slalom World Cup. That is the result of a perfect Saturday for Sara Hector. The Swede drove in Slovenia already in the first round in a league of her own and underlined her performance in the final. In the end, she had a lead of 1,42 seconds over her competitors.

The closest to Hector was 18-year-old Lara Colturi, who competes for Albania. The Italian-born rider showed off her talent once again. Alice Robinson (NZL) completed the podium in third place, but was already 1,52 seconds behind Hector.

Goggia best Azzurra

Sofia Goggia had a strong second run, conjuring up the second-best time behind the Austrian Julia Scheib (2th). This moved Goggia up from 4th to 12th place. This made her by far the best Italian. Lara Della Mea followed in 5th place, ahead of Asja Zenere (19nd) and Ilaria Ghisalberti (22rd). Roberta Melesi (23th) also scored a few points.
