An unknown Frenchman wins in Obereggen
The Maierl piste in Obereggen once again demanded everything from the European Cup athletes this year. Only 46 of the 108 athletes who started saw the finish flag. In the end, the (still) relatively unknown Frenchman Steven Amiez triumphed. There is emptiness in the classification if you are looking for South Tyroleans. Only Matteo Canins made it into the top 30.
